Lss Artifacts is a skill published by agensi that generates project-ready Lean Six Sigma deliverables across the full DMAIC and DFSS spectrum. Rather than providing generic guidance, it produces actual artifacts intended for direct use in project execution and leadership review.

On the quantitative side, the skill builds Excel workbooks for Gage R&R studies, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Process Capability calculations (Cp/Cpk), and OEE Calculators. These workbooks use built-in formulas rather than hardcoded values, so they remain functional as inputs change. FMEA outputs include conditional formatting such as RPN heatmaps to surface priority risk areas.

For visualization, the skill generates HTML and SVG-based Pareto charts, Fishbone (Ishikawa) diagrams, Value Stream Maps, and Control Charts covering I-MR and X-bar & R formats. Control Charts include automated rule detection logic.

On the documentation side, it produces Project Charters, A3 Reports, implementation plans, and structured Tollgate Presentation outlines formatted for leadership sign-off.

This skill is appropriate for Green Belts, Black Belts, and Master Black Belts who need audit-ready artifacts without building them manually. It is not suited to statistical analysis requiring live data connections, real-time process monitoring, or database querying — it generates document and file outputs, not live dashboards or data pipelines.

Use cases

  • Generate a formula-driven FMEA workbook with RPN heatmap conditional formatting for a manufacturing process review
  • Produce an X-bar & R Control Chart in HTML/SVG with automated rule detection for a quality control project
  • Create a Project Charter and A3 Report formatted for leadership Tollgate review
  • Build a Process Capability (Cp/Cpk) Excel calculator for a DMAIC Measure phase
  • Generate a Value Stream Map visualization for a Lean improvement initiative
  • Create a Gage R&R workbook with built-in formulas for a measurement system analysis

When to use it

  • When a Green Belt, Black Belt, or Master Black Belt needs project-ready artifacts without manual formatting
  • When preparing documentation for a DMAIC or DFSS Tollgate presentation
  • When consistency of artifact format is required across a deployment or consultancy
  • When audit-ready, sign-off-quality documentation is needed quickly

When not to use it

  • When live or real-time process data monitoring is required
  • When the task involves querying or connecting to a database directly
  • When statistical inference on raw datasets needs to be performed dynamically
  • When the deliverable must be a live dashboard rather than a generated file
