Keyword Fix is a Claude Code skill that executes a structured five-phase SEO repair pipeline. It is designed for founders, operators, and developers who want to diagnose and address SEO problems without engaging a consultant.

Phase 1 is a site audit that flags thin content, missing tags, keyword cannibalization, and H1 mismatches. Phase 2 is keyword gap mining, which surfaces keywords competitors likely rank for that the target site does not. Phase 3 classifies every keyword by search intent, so content gets matched to the right page type. Phase 4 builds a topic cluster architecture, grouping keywords into pillar-and-cluster structures with suggested URLs. Phase 5 produces an on-page fix table that lists, for each URL, the current title alongside a recommended title, an H1 correction, a meta description rewrite, internal link suggestions, and a priority level of HIGH, MEDIUM, or LOW.

The skill ships as a SKILL.md file that loads directly into Claude Code, accompanied by a README with a quick-start guide, five example prompts, realistic example output, and a CHANGELOG. No API keys are required for the core workflow, though some optional checks may depend on external tools or connected services. It is best used inside Claude Code; other environments are not the primary target.

Use cases

  • Audit a site for thin content, missing meta tags, keyword cannibalization, and H1 mismatches
  • Identify keyword gaps where competitors rank but the target site does not
  • Classify keywords by search intent to assign them to the correct pages
  • Build a pillar-and-cluster topic architecture with suggested URL structures
  • Generate a prioritized URL-by-URL on-page fix table with title, H1, and meta description recommendations
  • Get structured SEO diagnostics without hiring an external consultant

When to use it

  • Site has pages stuck on page 2–3 of search results that should rank higher
  • No structured SEO audit has been run and it is unclear what to fix first
  • Running Claude Code and want an SEO layer integrated into that workflow
  • Operating a local service site, SaaS product, or content site needing on-page optimization

When not to use it

  • Not using Claude Code, as the skill is specifically built for that environment
  • Need real-time rank tracking or ongoing monitoring rather than a one-time repair pipeline
  • Require technical SEO checks that depend on external tools or services not already connected
  • Looking for an MCP server rather than a Claude Code skill
